Supply Chain Logistics (SCL)

Problem One

To contain such terrorism, USA instructs Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs & Border Protection (CBP) to activate preventive security measures. Pushing Our "Zone of Security" Outwards. The introduction of Container Security Initiative by USA!

Upon the deployment of the Container Door Seal, the Consignee must produce tangible evidence to CBP that the Container Door Seal has not been subjected to tamper or compromise in order to gain speedy, priority access, US CBP clearance, possibly without human inspection.

A Container entering into USA territory may have ample exposure possibilities to potential tamper and compromise during feeder service or at a transit point or Container deposit farm or even during the journey by skillful compromising or tampering of the Door Seal.

Problem Two

Many assets or cargo inside a metal Container may be subject to Theft, Pilferage, Unloading without Permission, in the absence of any Real Time audit.

When the Container arrives at the destination, the Container Door Seal may remain intact but the cargo inside has disappeared.  After-the-event information is too late to activate corrective remedies.

Question?
Can a continuous seamless visibility be maintained within the metal (Reefer or Dry) Container, with the possibility of Exceptions being  reported, at the point of the event, near Real Time, to the Ship's Bridge, and Monitoring Server on-land?

CargoTrax Singapore has the solution!
